Bob Dylan Announces Extensive Tour

With the release of a new studio album coming out soon and The Basement Tapes anthology, Bob Dylan has announced an extensive tour in support of the two. The songwriter announced dates going through early December as part of his Never Ending tour. Dylan will perform multi-night residencies in various cities.

Dylan’s new LP is rumored to be named Shadows in the Night. The album is expected to release sometime this year. The Basement Tapes Complete is set to come out on November 4th.

Further Kings of Leon Shows Have Been Cancelled After Drummer is Injured in Accident

Kings Of Leon have cancelled more further shows after the band’s bus accident that injured drummer, Nathan Followill earlier this month.

The band cancelled all live shows until August 28th. Followill now has confirmed that the band has cancelled two more shows to give Followill time for recovery. Earlier this month, Followill was in an accident as a pedestrian “jumped in front” of their tour bus. He tweeted today to tell fans that extra shows have been cancelled.

Neon Trees Announce Tour

Neon Trees, a pop-rock band from Provo, Utah, announced the “First Things First” tour, the second one of this year. Touring with Echosmith, The Moth & The Flame, No Devotion, and Fictionist.

Gaining momentum in 2008, Neon Trees recently released their latest album, Pop Psychology, in June of this year. The band, consisting of Tyler Glenn, vocals, Christopher Allen, guitar, Branden Campbell, bass, and Elaine Bradley, percussion, initially met when Allen and Glenn grew up as neighbors in Murrieta, California and eventually moved to Provo, Utah, meeting the other members along the way.

Banshee Bones Announce Tour

Banshee Bones, an experimental rock band based out of Los Angeles, have announced an extensive tour, from the end of August to the beginning of December. The band has been playing shows virtually nonstop to promote their new album, Birds of Prey, which came out in October of last year.

Stars Announce Tour Dates for 2014

Stars, a Canadian rock band, announced North American tour dates to support their upcoming seventh studio album, No One is Lost, which will come out
October 14th. The Canadian indie rock band will go on their headlining tour beginning October 8th in Portland, Maine and will tour down the east coast.

Kings Of Leon Cancels Show After Nathan Followill Is Injured

Kings of Leon posted on their Facebook page that drummer, Nathan Followill, was injured after a pedestrian jumped in front of their tour bus causing them to come to a sudden stop. Sustaining broken ribs during the stop, the band had to consequently cancel their show in Saratoga Springs, New York. Fans are offered refunds for the cancelled show.

After receiving get well messages from fans, Followill tweeted, “Thank you for all of the get well soons. I’m a little banged up but will be back better than ever.”

Nathan’s bandmate and brother Jared Followill tweeted about the incident on Sunday as well, writing: “So sad this a.m.. Bus accident last night. Nathan has broken ribs. This was the most fun tour in a while. We’ll be back ASAP.#GetWellNate.”

Divided Heaven Announces Tour in Japan

Divided Heaven, singer-songwriter, announced dates for later this month with RYOKO from Yamanashi. This is the second international tour for Divided Heaven, initially touring extensively in Europe. Also, they played several dates during Warped Tour and separate shows alongside that.

Touring in support of their sophomore album, Youngblood, which was released March 25th of this year on Say-10 Records.

Singer-songwriter Jeff Berman pulls lyrical inspiration from the places he has lived in and from the various bands he has played with, such as Protagonist.

Said the Whale Announces Tour

Said the Whale, Vancouver-based indie rock band, announced a small U.S. tour beginning in late September. The band consists of Ben Worcester (guitar and vocals), Tyler Bancroft (guitar and vocals), Spencer Schoening (drums), Jaycelyn Brown (keyboards), and Nathan Shaw (bass)

Said the Whale released their fourth full-length studio album, Hawaii, in September 17th 2013.

American Authors Announce Tour

American Authors, a New York City-based indie rock band, recently announced tour dates with the Mowgli’s, Echosmith, and Oh Honey in support of their new album, Oh What a Life. Tour dates can be found above and presages can be found here.

Meeting at Berklee College of Music in 2007, members, Zac Barnett (vocals and guitar), James Adam Shelley (guitar and banjo), Dave Rublin (bass), and Matt Sanchez (drums) originally started at “The Blue Pages” and eventually changed their name before releasing “Believer” under their new pseudo, American Authors.

Smallpools Release New Song and Announce Tour

Smallpools, LA-based indie pop band, announced tour with Panama Wedding and Magic Man. It is their first headlining tour, opening for bands such as Neon Trees and Grouplove. As well as announcing the tour, Smallpools released a new song, “Killer Whale” which is available for free on Soundcloud and for streaming on Hype Machine.

Smallpools are Sean Scanlon on vocals, Mike Kamerman on guitar, Joseph Intile on bass and Beau Kuther on drums. They are planning on releasing their first full-length album soon.
