Pond announce tour, share “30000 Megatons” video

Pond have shared a video for their track, “30000 Megatons.” It is joined by a new tour announcement. The video, edited by Ashley Rommelrath, shows spliced footage of riots, military operations, ads, and music festivals. Watch it below with the tour dates.

“3000 Megatons” is on Pond’s upcoming record, The Weather. The album which was produced by Kevin Parker, is set to be out May 5th via Marathon Artists

Fleet Foxes announce first U.S. show in 6 years

Fleet Foxes have announced their first show in the U.S. since 2011. They will perform at Newport Folk Festival in July, which runs from the 28th to the 30th at Fort Adams State Park in Rhode Island. They will headline on the first day. The concert follows their appearances at Vida Festival, Bilbao BBK Live, Iveagh Gardens (Dublin), and Piazza Castello in Turin, which Robin Pecknold had announced yesterday on Instagram. Pecknold has continuously teased at the follow-up to Fleet Foxes’ Helplessness Blues. He said the album is “alllllmost done” in November and revealed later it’s 11 tracks and “55ish minutes” with “some folk-soul songs.” He commented on Instagram, “songs soon!” yesterday. Beach House announce tour, new rarities compilation

Beach House have announced a tour starting this March. The band announced a few headlining shows to coincide with their festival dates, which includes previously announced appearances at Governors Ball in New York City and Ceremonia in Mexico City. Beach House are also currently working on a compilation of B-sides and rarities. It’s set to come out in the beginning half of 2017, according to a press release. Tess Considine shares new video for “What I’m Gonna Be”

Today, Tess Considine shared the video for her song, “What I’m Gonna Be.” The video, directed by Shane Bagwell and Lane Mckenna, shows the Grammy Camp alum is shown singing alone on stage in an auditorium while dancers appear in the pews. Watch it below.

Watch Dave Grohl react to his teenage band demo in new documentary outtake

Dave Grohl was in the Northern Virginia-based hardcore band Scream before he was in Nirvana. Even though Grohl primarily played drums for the band, he sang lead vocals on one song, “Gods Look Down” in 1989. In a newly-released outtake from the Foo Fighters HBO series “Sonic Highways,” Grohl revisited an alternate take of the song with producer Barrett Jones. “I sound like a girl,” Grohl said at one point listening. “I don’t think my balls had dropped yet.” Watch the clip below.

Chance the Rapper Remixes “Arthur” Theme Song with Stephen Colbert, Ziggy Marley

Ziggy Marley, Chance the Rapper, and Stephen Colbert have shared their version of the “Arthur” theme song, which was originally written and recorded by Marley, in a new video. Watch it below. Chance has loved the “Arthur” theme and that affection goes back, he used to cover it at his shows in 2014. He released his version of it on SoundCloud that same year.

Coast Modern have shared their latest song, “Comb My Hair.” The Los Angeles duo delivers a blend as heady as it is relaxing. “Comb My Hair” is the lead single off Coast Modern’s recently announced debut full-length, which is set to be out May 5th via 300 Entertainment and +1 Records. “We skinny dipping in your living room, crying and laughing/ Ha ha ha ha, he he he he,” singer Luke Atlas sings. “Just comb my hair ’cause I get scared when I don’t know what will happen to me/ What happened to me?” Lord, could I use a hair combing right about now.”
