Paul McCartney Reveals Unseen Beatles’ Photo

At his concert in Candlestick Park in San Francisco, Paul McCartney revealed an unseen photo from The Beatles’ last concert, which had taken place at the same venue. Candlestick Park hosted McCartney as their final public performance after 54 years of hosting the city’s sporting events and live performances.

The image is of many that were shown on the big screen behind McCartney as he performed at Candlestick Park last night, August 14. The concert was called “Farewell To Candlestick: The Final Concert” as the venue will soon close its doors. The Beatles performed at this venue on August 29, 1966.

As McCartney played Little Richard’s “Long Tall Sally,” a collection of Jim Marshall’s never before seen pictures.

McCartney’s stop at Candlestick Park is the latest show on Paul his ‘Out There’ tour. In July, McCartney continued the tour, after taking two months off after contracting a virus in Tokyo, Japan. He postponed concerts in Lubbock, Dallas, New Orleans, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Nashville and Louisville until October.
