NYC rock revival book Meet Me in the Bathroom gets documentary series

Meet Me in the Bathroom, by Lizzy Goodman, is an oral history of the rock revival that happend during the 2000s in New York City and features interviews with the Strokes, LCD Soundsystem, and more. Now, it will be adapted into a documentary mini-series. The four-part series is directed by Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, who also made the LCD Soundsystem concert film, Shut Up and Play the Hits. The documentary will have “first hand testimony, rare archive, and an era-defining soundtrack” with several of the bands who are in the book, according to a press release. Goodman said in a statement, “It’s time to share with everyone else the full view of this weird, beautiful, dirty time capsule I’ve been inhabiting.”
