The Ocean’s 8 trailer, the Ocean’s Eleven spin-off led by women, has come out. Watch the video below. The film features Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Sandra Bullock, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter, Awkwafina, Mindy Kaling, and more. It was co-written and directed by The Hunger Games director Gary Ross. The film follows a heist at New York City’s Met Gala. The film is set to be out June 8th, 2018.
Rihanna has shared a video on Instagram where she announced a new song, “Sledgehammer,” which is set to premiere tomorrow. She said on Twitter that the song will be out “by 8am EST for a special premiere.” The track will be on the soundtrack for the upcoming Star Trek sequel, Star Trek: Beyond (out July 22). Seven months to the date after the release of Wildheart, Miguel hosted a “Wildheart Motel” party in Los Angeles last night featuring various performances going on at the same time in different rooms. As Pitchfork points out, one of the performances occurred with Miguel covering “My Girl” by the Temptations as a duet with Rihanna, who also sang Mary J.
