Watch My Morning Jacket Join Roger Waters At Newport Folk Festival

Roger Waters from Pink Floyd headlined the Newport Folk Festival last night, which marked his first time performing live since 2013. Earlier in the day, My Morning Jacket performed a surprise set and they served as Waters’ backing band. Waters set began with the live debut of “Crystal Clear Brooks,” a new song, and the acoustic performance included a few of Pink Floyd classics as well as covers, including a Bob Dylan tribute 5o years after Dylan’s famous electric set at the festival. Singer Amy Helm, who is the daughter of the late Levon Helm, Lucius, fiddler Sara Watkins, and guitarist G.E. Smith joined the performance as well.
