Speedy Ortiz have released a new song, “In My Way.” It is part of the anti-Trump compilation Our First 100 Days on bandcamp, where a new song is released every day for the first 100 days of Donald Trump’s presidency. Listen to “In My Way” below. 2015’s Foil Deer and last year’s Foiled Again EP were Speedy Ortiz’s last releases. Sadie Dupuis from Speedy Ortiz also released a solo album, Slugger, as Sad13 in 2016.

PBR Throwing a Music Festival in Portland

Pabst Blue Ribbon, a predominantly hipster beer, is throwing a music festival featuring hipster bands in Portland, the hipster capital of the world. The first annual Project Pabst takes place in venues across Portland on September 26th-28th. Performances for this festival include Modest Mouse, Guided By Voices, Tears For Fears, GZA, Phosphorescent, Violent Femmes, Shabazz Palaces, Constantines, Rocket From the Crypt, Speedy Ortiz, Menomona, The Thermals, Surfer Blood, Lord Huron, Red Fang, High on Fire, Craft Spells, Deap Vally, Small Black, and more to come.
