Brian Wilson will release a new compilation that follows over 30 years on his work, Playback on September 22nd. He has shared “Run James Run” today, a song he co-wrote with Joe Thomas and recorded in 2017, specifically for the collection. Listen to it below. The song is one of two unreleased tracks on Playback. “Some Sweet Day,” the other song, goes back to the ’90s and was composed with frequent collaborator Andy Paley.
