Sufjan Stevens has directed a stop-motion video for the title track from his new mixtape, “The Greatest Gift”. The clip stars a cast of religious figures and joyful stock-photo people, all made from cutouts of photos and illustrations. They are placed with reassuring maxims in printed text saying things like “Give generously to all without finding fault” and “Donkeys can be very useful in an emergency.” Watch it below.
