Neil Young announced earlier this year that he was getting ready to launch a massive online archive with all his music, released and unreleased, for free in high-quality audio via his XStream Music streaming service. Yesterday, to coincide with his new album The Visitor, he launched the site. The Neil Young Archives include a filing cabinet and a timeline of all his albums up through The Visitor, which also includes several unreleased items like Chrome Dreams, Homegrown, and Toast. His film projects and books are also listed. Explore here, and watch a tutorial video narrated by Young below. “Don’t forget to have a good time,” he tells users. “And try not to get lost.”
