Adam Green and Kimya Dawson, aka The Moldy Peaches, are reissuing their debut self-titled album and it is set to be out August 10th through Rough Trade. It will be pressed on red vinyl as well as come with a bonus 7″ single of “County Fair” and “Rainbows,” and it will come out on CD. The artwork has been slightly updated. The album also features “Anyone Else But You,” which was used in the film, Juno.
“It’s been 17 years since this was last released and we are putting it out again just in time to capitalize on the popularity of Juno,” the band joked in a statement. “We decided to ignore Barbara Walters’ advice when she told us to strike when the iron was hot, and decided to wait until the iron had become safely tepid. Once a Moldy Peach, always a Moldy Peach.”
