Devendra Banhart has announced tour dates throughout the United States for 2017. The newly announced dates start January 23rd at the Showbox in Seattle, and will play shows Portland, Austin, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, New York, and more. Foxygen announce new album Hang, share “Follow the Leader” video

Foxygen have announced their follow-up to 2014’s …And Star Power. It is called Hang and it is set to be out January 20th through Jagjaguwar. The band have shared the music video for a song from the album called “Follow the Leader.” The video which is directed by Cameron Dutra, who also directed their “San Francisco” video, is filled with choreographed sequences with a bunch of backup dancers in a park. Watch it below. Foxygen also announced tour dates in support of Hang.

Every song on the album have a symphony orchestra as “America” and “Follow the Leader” hinted at. Trey Pollard arranged and conducted the group and Matthew E. White arranged additional arrangements. The album features appearances from  Steven Drozd and the Lemon Twigs from the Flaming Lips.

The album is available through a Jagjaguwar bundle, which is packed with a flexi-disc which features demo versions of “Follow the Leader” and “On Lankershim.” The first 50 pre-orders come with an autographed piece of sheet music from the recording sessions.

Angel Olsen announces 2017 US tour dates

Angel Olsen has expanded her  fall tour to a few early 2017 dates. Following shows in Europe and Australia, the singer-songwriter will be out almost all of February to perform in US cities like New Orleans, Austin, Denver, Phoenix, and San Francisco.

Porter Robinson and Madeon release new song “Shelter,” announce joint tour

Porter Robinson and Madeon have released a collaboration named “Shelter.” Listen to it below. The producers have announced the Shelter Live Tour, as well, a joint North American tour that will begin in September and will have a new live show that is from each of the artists’ catalogs. Japandroids announce 2016 tour

After finished their tour in 2013, behind Celebration Rock, Japandroids announced they were taking a break, saying “time for us to disappear into the ether for a while.” They have shared a post today on their Facebook page announcing their first tour in three years. It will start with a group of shows at Vancouver’s Cobalt in October, and finishes this November in Mexico City. You can find the full itinerary for their tour below.

Destroyer to debut new songs on solo tour

Destroyer’s Poison Season came out last year, and Dan Bejar released a new 12” earlier this year that featured his track “My Mystery.” Bejar is going out on a solo tour this fall. The tour announcement promises that falls will be able to hear previews of “at least 10 new guitar-based tracks,” according to a press release. Find those dates below.

Jagwar Ma announce new album, share “OB1” video

Jagwar Ma released their debut album Howlin’ in 2013. They have now announced its follow-up, called Every Now & Then, and it is due out this fall via Mom + Pop. The announcement is joined by the video for the album’s first song “OB1.” Watch the video below. It was produced by the band and mixed by DJ Ewan Pearson, the track features drumming from Stella Mozgawa (of Warpaint). Gabriel Winterfield from the band said that the song is about “moving through the motions of life under the influence of lost love, the fear of letting go of the past when not having anything set in place in the future to hold on to.” Jono Ma added that the song was “designed for nocturnal road trips and foraging through forests for morning fresh champignons.”

The band also will go on an international tour, starting at Splendour in the Grass Festival in Australia on July 24th, and ending in November in Bordeaux, France. Find their tour dates below.

Real Estate announces fall tour

Real Estate announced that guitarist Matt Mondanile was leaving the band in May in order to focus on his own Ducktails project. After his departure, the band played a few shows with new member and guitarist Julian Lynch as “a prelude to the recording of their next album.” They have announced a fall U.S. tour today.Check out Real Estate’s upcoming itinerary below.

In May, Real Estate stated that their next album is “tentatively slated” to be released early 2017.
