Watch Radiohead play “I Promise” for first time in 21 years
Radiohead performed at the Oslo Spektrum in Norway today for their second show of their European tour. The band played the recently released OK Computer-era song “I Promise,” the first live performance of the song since 1996 during the set. “Normally, I don’t think we’re the sort of people to look back,” Yorke said before playing the track. “But, it was interesting, when we did, what a bunch of nutters we were, and probably still are. One of the things—one of the crazy things we did was not release this song, because we didn’t think it was good enough.” Watch it be performed below.
Radiohead recently released a new video for “I Promise” which can be released as well.
