Adult Swim has announced a new TV special with Eric Andre. “Eric Andre Does Paris” will premiere on Monday, February 19th at 12:15 a.m. Eastern time. According to a press release, it will show André “[hitting] the streets of Paris, France to ponder existential questions with French people.” André created, co-wrote, and executive-produced the special and it is directed by Kitao Sakurai, who works on “The Eric Andre Show.”
At SXSW yesterday, Eric Andre shared a preview of his upcoming season of “The Eric Andre Show,” as Pigeons and Planes pointed out. He premiered a sketch called “Rapper Warrior Ninja,” a hip-hop parody version of “Ninja Warrior,” the show where people attempt to complete a strenuous obstacle course. Danny Brown, A$AP Rocky, and Go Dreamer freestyled their way through Andre’s hazardous course while blindfolded. The MCs attempted to perform while they navigated through soiled underwear, a mouse trap plank, “ball swing alley,” and a snake pit. Co-host Hannibal Buress watched, telling them, “Don’t stop rapping!”
