At SXSW yesterday, Eric Andre shared a preview of his upcoming season of “The Eric Andre Show,” as Pigeons and Planes pointed out. He premiered a sketch called “Rapper Warrior Ninja,” a hip-hop parody version of “Ninja Warrior,” the show where people attempt to complete a strenuous obstacle course. Danny Brown, A$AP Rocky, and Go Dreamer freestyled their way through Andre’s hazardous course while blindfolded. The MCs attempted to perform while they navigated through soiled underwear, a mouse trap plank, “ball swing alley,” and a snake pit. Co-host Hannibal Buress watched, telling them, “Don’t stop rapping!”
Having worked with artists on tracks such as Vampire Weekend, Charlie XCX, Purity Ring, and Portugal. The Man, there is no surprise that the MC, Danny Brown, has teamed up with Phantogram for a remix of their single, “Black Out Days”.
