Watch Radiohead play “Creep,” “Karma Police,” “Paranoid Android,” more during Coachella set

Radiohead headlined the first night of Coachella’s opening weekend yesterday. Racked by technical difficulties throughout the set, the band seemed to be mostly unruffled, with Thom Yorke making jokes in a seemingly dry manner. The career-spanning concert included a number of their classics, including “Creep,” “Karma Police,” “Paranoid Android,” as well as songs from A Moon Shaped Pool. Watch clips from their performance below. Once they finish their second Coachella set on April 21st, they will go overseas for the European leg of their tour.

Phoenix tease new song “J-Boy”

Phoenix have released a new 13-second video on their Twitter. It shows various song titles, including some of their hits including “Lisztomania” and “1901.” At the end, there’s one unfamiliar name: “J-Boy.” The “J-Boy” clip follows speculations about a new record when the band changed their profile images on various social media accounts last fall. Shortly after, they announced their return to live performances.

Future Islands are making their talk show rounds with having released their new LP The Far Field on April 7th. The appeared on “Conan” on last night where they performed their track “Cave.” Watch it happen below.

Kamasi Washington announces new EP Harmony of Difference, shares new video

Kamasi Washington has announced a new EP, Harmony of Difference. The six-movement suite, which was premiered at this year’s Whitney’s Biennial, is set to be out this summer via Young Turks. Washington also shared a music video for “Truth,” the final piece from the EP. The 14-minute clip was directed by A.G. Rojas and shows abstract visuals along with footage of people wrestling, kissing, crying, and dancing. Watch it below. Washington says in a statement about the EP, “My hope is that witnessing the beautiful harmony created by merging different musical melodies will help people realize the beauty in our own difference.”

Girlpool shares video for new song “It Gets More Blue”

Girlpool have released a new video for their new song “It Gets More Blue.” It is from their forthcoming Powerplant album, which is set to be out May 12th on Anti-. The clip, directed by Amalia Irons from a concept by Harmony Tividad, features Tividad and Cleo Tucker posing as a couple, going on idyllic outings and attending strange tarot card parties. Watch the video below.
