Wilco reveal lineup for Solid Sound Festival

Wilco have announced the lineup for their Solid Sound Festival. Performers include Television, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Kevin Morby, Big Thief, Robert Glasper Experiment, Daniel Bachman, Joan Shelley, Jeff Parker Trio, the Nels Cline Four, and Tweedy. Wilco will headline the first two nights of the festival. John Hodgman also curated the comedy for the fest. Check out the full lineup here. Solid Sound will take place from Friday June 23rd to June 25th at MASS MoCa in North Adams, Massachusetts.

Bon Iver/The National’s Eaux Claires Fest announce lineup

Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and the National’s Aaron Dessner have announced the lineup for their third Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival, which is to take place June 16-17th in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, as Stereogum reports. Chance the Rapper, Wilco, along with Jeff Tweedy’s side project Tweedy, Feist, Paul Simon with yMusic, Danny Brown, Perfume Genius, and more are set to play. Additional performances listed include “Bon Iver Presents John Prine and the American Songbook,” and “Big Red Machine,” a collaborative performance from Vernon and Desnner with guests, based on their song of the same name from the compilation Dark Was the Night.

Even though the lineup has not yet been officially announced, booklets featuring the lineup were mailed to people who had ordered tickets already. Check out an image/tweet below.

Download Wilco’s first-ever all acoustic show 

Wilco’s yearly three-day Solid Sound Festival began last Friday. Two years ago, they played their set of fan-requested covers and they year, they performed their first ever set all-acoustic. Check out the setlist below and listen to “Hesitating Beauty” here. Tweedy said the song was “so much nicer” to sing “now that everyone can get married” after last Friday’s Supreme Court decision. Wilco announce new 2015 tour dates

Wilco has announced their first dates for 2015. The five-city stint begins in Texas and ends in Florida between the final week of April to the beginning of May. The band will then return in June for Solid Sound Music Festival in North Adams, Massachusetts. announced its first leg of tour dates for 2015.

This leg of tour follows the band’s recent Chicago residency that celebrated their 20th anniversary.
