Fleet Foxes play Crack-Up songs on “CBS This Morning”

Fleet Foxes have been on the television circuit as of late to promote their new album Crack-Up. After performing on “Colbert” last night, they appeared on “CBS This Morning Saturday” earlier today. They performed from Electric Lady Studios live and they played a series of songs from the new album: “Third of May,” “If You Need To, Keep Time on Me,” and “Fool’s Errand.” Watch performances of the latter two songs below.

Lorde announces North American tour

Lorde has announced a new strand of tour dates behind her new album Melodrama. After announcing European and Australasian shows last week, the singer has now announced North American shows set to go through March and into April next year. “The Mayor” is an upcoming sitcom about a struggling rapper who becomes mayor after trying to promote his new mixtape by entering the race. clipping. rapper and an original Hamilton cast member Daveed Diggs has been signed as its executive producer. It also has been announced that clipping. has recorded all the original music for the show, as Entertainment Weekly reports. “The Mayor” will debut this fall on ABC. Listen to Stevie Nicks’ new song “Your Hand I Will Never Let It Go”

Stevie Nicks has come out with a new song titled “You’re Hand I Will Never Let It Go” and it will appear in the film The Book of Henry. The song has a new lyric video, which can be watched below. The song was written by Doveman’s Thomas Barlett and Guster’s Ryan Miller. The Book of Henry is an independent drama starring Naomi Watts and Maddie Ziegler and premieres June 16th. The single is the first solo work Nicks has released since her 2014 album 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault.

Neon Indian’s Alan Palomo scores new Sci-Fi film

Alan Palomo, aka Neon Indian, has scored his first film, an upcoming sci-fi movie named Everything Beautiful Is Far Away. It is directed by Pete Ohs, who has also directed videos for Best Coast and Wavves, and stars Julia Garner and Joseph Cross. The film, according to a press release, is about “a trio—a guy, his robot head companion and a determined young woman—who traverse a planet in search of a mythical lake.” Palomo’s score can be heard in a new film teaser; watch it below. Everything Beautiful Is Far Away will premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 21st.

Washed Out announces new album Mister Mellow

Ernest Greene, or Washed Out has announced a new visual album called Mister Mellow. It is the follow-up to 2013’s Paracosm and it is set to arrive June 30th via Stones Throw. Greene created the project almost entirely alone over two years, with his only collaborator was mix engineer Cole M. G. N. Mister Mellow will include the previously released track “Get Lost.” Below, watch the project’s trailer, which shows shots of pills falling in slow motion and moving psychedelic patterns. Mac DeMarco made his network television debut on“The Tonight Show,” singing “One More Love Song” off his recently released album This Old Dog. Jimmy Fallon prefaced the performance by saying, “I’m tellin’ you, this is gonna win some awards.” Watch it below. DeMarco wore a shirt featuring himself and John Cena who was also a guest on the show during the program. DeMarco and Cena met each other at one point during the taping, which can also be found below.
