Watch Janelle Monáe perform “Hell You Talmbout” at Women’s March on Washington
Today was the Women’s March on Washington, a massive protest that went on in Washington, D.C. and a multitude of cities around the United States (and world), less than 24 hours after the inauguration of Donald Trump. When Janelle Monáe spoke at the event (“Get off our areolas; get off our vaginas,” she demanded), she and Jidenna led the crowd in a call-and-response performance of “Hell You Talmbout.” They were accompanied by the mothers of Trayvon Martin, Mohamed Bah, Eric Garner, Dontre Hamilton, and Jordan Davis. “Broad City” prepare for Trump presidency in new video
“Broad City” has shared a new short video where Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer get ready to survive Trump’s presidency. The video starts with Abbi calling Ilana while she is stuck in an elevator. They start to count down to Trump’s swearing-in. Once he gets sworn in, they start cursing, a lot. Watch the clip below.

Arcade Fire returns with new song “I Give You Power” ft. Mavis Staples
Arcade Fire has released a new song featuring Mavis Staples. It is named “I Give You Power” and all proceeds from the track will go to the American Civil Liberties Union. “It’s never been more important that we stick together & take care of each other,” the artists said in a tweet. Listen to the song below. It is still unclear if this song will appear on an upcoming release.

Bonobo recently released his latest album Migration. He has released a new video for “No Reason” a collaboration with Nick Murphy. The clip, directed by Oscar Hudson, follows a never-ending series of connected rooms as a man grows inside them. Watch it below.
Listen to Spoon’s new song “Hot Thoughts”
Spoon have released the title song from their just-announced album Hot Thoughts. Listen to it below. The album is set to be out March 17th via Matador. The album’s 10 tracks were co-produced by Spoon and Dave Fridmann. The band also announced a three-night residency in Austin during SXSW, which also is the same week as the album’s release. “The band will resurrect the original, classic Austin venue Emo’s location, currently referred to as ‘The Main’ on March 14, 15 and 16,” a press release reads. “The band will curate a unique line up each night and will stubbornly be referring to the venue as ‘Eno’s.’”
Watch Bon Iver perform a stripped-down “Babys” at Berlin collaborative event
Bon Iver went to Funkhaus studios in Berlin in early October of last year for Michelberger Music, an art event/festival that Justin Vernon helped organized with the National’s Aaron and Bryce Dessner, and others. Artists came together for performances, workshops, collaborations, and more. Vernon participated in a techno jam as well as play some of the first 22, A Million performances with his band. A new video from the event has appeared which features Vernon performing his song “Babys” from the Blood Bank EP with collaborator S. Carey. Watch it below.
