Kendrick Lamar and Vince Staples appear in the new trailer for Marvel’s upcoming movie Black Panther with what seems to be a new song. Watch it below. The soundtrack for the film, Black Panther: The Album is produced and curated by both Kendrick and Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith. Black Panther is to be in theaters February 16th while the soundtrack is out February 9th. The film is also scored by Ludwig Göransson.
Kendrick Lamar has announced a North American tour starting in July. He will be joined by acts Travis Scott and D.R.A.M. See the dates, which will begin in Phoenix and end in L.A. on August 6th, in below. The announcement follows his performances at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where he premiered several songs from his new album DAMN.. The shows featured kung-fu videos, the Fox News segment that was sampled on DAMN., a ninja, and guest appearances from Travis Scott, Schoolboy Q, and Future.

Kendrick Lamar released his new studio album DAMN. recently. He has now released the music video for “DNA.,” directed by Nabil and the Little Homies (Kendrick and Dave Free). It stars Don Cheadle, who begins the video by interrogating Kendrick. “Kendrick Lamar, two first names, huh,” he says. “What the fuck is up with that?” He then proceeds to lip-sync the song, switching with Kendrick. The end of the video features a new outro that is not on the album version of the song, and the video ends with Schoolboy Q walking towards the camera before punching it out. Also, the Chinese characters in the video spell out “Kung Fu Kenny.” Watch it below.
Kendrick Lamar has shared a new music video for his new song, “Humble.” The video was directed by Dave Meyers & the Little Homies. The Little Homies are the duo of Kendrick and TDE president Dave Free. The new song was produced by Mike WiLL Made-It. “Humble” is the follow-up to Kendrick’s “The Heart Part 4,” which was released last week. His last studio album, To Pimp a Butterfly, was released in 2015 and last year, he released the compilation untitled unmastered. Watch the new video below.
Kendrick Lamar has posted an “IV” image on Instagram and cleared all of his other posts, sparking rumors that his fourth album is coming soon. See the post below. Kendrick also hinted at some themes of the upcoming record. “I think now, how wayward things have gone within the past few months, my focus is ultimately going back to my community and the other communities around the world where they’re doing the groundwork,” he said. “To Pimp a Butterfly was addressing the problem. I’m in a space now where I’m not addressing the problem anymore.”
FYF Fest has released its 2016 lineup. The two-day music festival will take place August 27th – 28th at Exposition Park in Los Angeles.
Kendrick Lamar, LCD Soundsystem, Tame Impala, and Grace Jones are leading the lineup. Other acts include Grimes, ANOHNI, Father John Misty, Hot Chip, Explosions in the Sky, Air, Beach House, Wolf Parade, Vince Staples, Shellac, Blood Orange, and Moby.
