Tallest Man On Earth, aka Swedish folk singer Kristian Matsson, has been working on a video series the last few months called “The Light In Demos.” He shares a little life update in every episode before performing live, and on the most recent installment, he performs a song by Nick Drake. The Tallest Man on Earth releases new EP with yMusic

The Tallest Man on Earth has released a new EP in collaboration with yMusic, the New York City-based chamber ensemble. The songs features new versions of tracks spanning the Tallest Man on Earth’s catalog, as well as a cover of Joan Baez’s “East Virginia.” Stream it below. A vinyl edition of the EP is set to be out in early October. The Tallest Man on Earth’s last album was 2015’s Dark Bird Is Home.

The Tallest Man on Earth shares new single “Rivers”

Singer-songwriter Kristian Matsson, The Tallest Man on Earth, has yet to confirm plans for a new album, but he has still come out this year with two beautiful singles.

“Time of the Blue,” the first, came out in June and the second, “Rivers” arrived today where it shows the delicateness of just Matsson and his guitar.

The Tallest Man On Earth announces US tour dates 

Swedish singer-songwriter The Tallest Man on Earth, Kristian Matsson, released his fourth studio album, the lushly melodic Dark Bird is Home. He will be touring with that record for the next few months, including a leg of new U.S. tour dates. 

The tour in the states will start in Seattle at the Moore Theatre before going to cities like Portland, Denver, Chicago, and Wichita. The full itinerary is below.
